Steps to completing the Application:

- Read through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. It is very helpful.
- Determine and contact those who you would like to be your references. A total of 3 references are needed (Spiritual leader, CCC/AIA Staff Member, Roommate/Peer). When you enter your references into your application, an email will be sent to each reference with a form which will need to be completed and returned to the Internship office at applicationservices@athletesinaction.org.
- Fill out the application by clicking on the following: apply.ccci.org/30.
- A $50 application fee is required to process your application. Please make the check payable to Athletes in Action and send it to:

Deadlines: To allow time for the application process and ministry partner development, those wishing to apply for a staff internship need to submit a completed application by March 1. A non-refundable $75 late fee ($50 application fee + $25) will be required on all applications received after March 1. Academic interns must apply at least two months before the start of the internship.
An application is complete when the online application is completed, the elaboration packet has been completed and uploaded to your application, and when all your references and application fee have been submitted. It is your responsibility to see that all these get to us on time.
Once your application is complete, the turn around time is 4 to 6 weeks until you receive a decision. The earlier you complete your application the better.
Ministry Partner Development: Once you have been accepted and placed, you will be expected to develop your ministry partner team by August 1. If you are not a competing athlete (i.e. not competing in the spring season), you are highly encouraged to attend one of the US Campus Ministry Intern Kickoff Weekends. At this conference, you will receive training in developing a ministry partner team and will be given an orientation to the coming year. Intern Kickoff Weekends are typically held in April and May.
